TAC's London bench is looking for a Fractional CFO for venture-backed scale-ups and founder-owned companies across the UK and Ireland. You own finance leadership part-time: board reporting, cash strategy, fundraising support and the controls that let founders scale safely.
Act as CFO for 2 to 4 companies (1 to 3 days per week each)
Own monthly close oversight, board packs and 18-month cash runway models
Lead fundraising workstreams: data room, model, investor Q&A
Implement controls, approval matrices and ERP finance flows
Manage auditors, tax advisors and banking relationships
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent with 10+ years' experience
Scale-up or PE-backed finance leadership; UK GAAP and VAT fluency
Fundraising track record (seed to Series B) strongly preferred
Professional, calm board presence and hands-on modelling skills
Right to work in the UK; hybrid around London/City
